Nail the Trend! How to Rock Head to Toe Velvet

Who has a crush on velvet?

Me, obviously! I can't get enough of the lush fabric, especially when it comes in a lush jewel tone. I got an amazing burgundy velvet jumpsuit from Pretty Little Thing a few weeks ago and have been scouting and shopping for more since then!

I was instantly obsessed with this velvet suit from Zara. Talk about a winning combo! There is something soft and drapey about the pants and jacket, lending a sophisticated pajama vibe to the look. I styled it with a statement belt instead of the coordinating sash that came with the jacket. It adds a little bit of a boss lady feel to the finished look. You could layer a stylish bralette underneath the jacket and let it peek out a bit, or just wrap it tight and go like I did! Just don't forget to add heels!

If a full body velvet look is too much for your taste, you can always style the pieces separately. The jacket would look fab with jeans or a simple black dress,  and you can easily pair the pants with a cozy knit sweater or classic white blouse.
