Highlights from my week in Johannesburg and Cape Town!

The Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, where I had an overnight layover. I made it just in time for the last entry, and it was incredible. If you go, plan for a night visit. Seeing it almost empty made for a richer, more spiritual experience.

My first night in Johannesburg and I headed out to the San Deck at Sandton Sun Hotel just in time to catch the sunset. I wanted to be comfy chic, so went with this pajama dressing look - silk pants, Nasty Gal bodysuit, and a white kimono.

When your makeup looks this good an hour after getting off an 8 hour flight, a selfie is required. An in-flight sleeping mask is definitely a requirement!

The next day started with a tour to Cape Point, and the first stop was a visit to Boulders Beach to see the adorable, but mean penguins.

The kimono added a nice touch to an otherwise super casual look, and I could take it off and stuff it in my tote when we hit areas of high sun or rough terrain as we hiked south.

After crossing a gorgeous strip of beach, rocky cliffs, and patches of bush, we made it to Cape Point, one of the most stunning areas I've ever seen.

The next day I flew back to Johannesburg for a safari. I hung out around Sun City, and made it to through their Maze of the Lost City before starting the game drive.
