Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and beauty, and now wedding planning. Stay awhile, hope you enjoy it!

Traveling in Style: My Cartagena Lookbook

I'm fresh off the heels of an incredible vacation! I already shared my travel tips and must-do activities in the city, but just as important, is what you wear for each. I had so many amazing pictures from my short trip that I wanted to do one all about my lookbook.

Day 1

For exploring the city after flying in, I changed into this comfortable, chic sundress from Tobi. It was perfect for wandering around the beautiful streets of Cartagena. The fabric is soft and breezy and the lace-up detail is a great finishing touch.

Day 2

Ice cream and head wraps are hot weather essentials

After getting messy at El Totumo, I wanted to clean up but stay comfortable. I opted for a pair of vintage jean shorts and blush lace-up bodysuit. Since my hair was too much of a mess to deal with after the mud, I gave it a quick rinse and tied on a colorful head wrap, then adding a pair of fringe earrings for a look just screamed summer vacay.

Day 3

Cartagena Private Boat White Party

Today was the day we decided to party it up on a private boat we chartered to explore the Rosario Islands. Some of the girls and I decided to make it a white party, so I rocked the Gigi neoprene bikini from Triangl. I'm obsessed with their bikinis! They fit well, look super luxe but are pretty inexpensive, and it came with a really cute neoprene drawstring bag that doubled as my backpack for the day.

Day 4

Getting lost in the city in my Tobi Carlie Skater Dress

Cartagena is such a bright, vibrant city, so this lilac skater dress from Tobi was a perfect fit for an afternoon walking around town taking pics with the squad. The temperature was 85-90 degrees each day, so something short, breezy, and open was exactly what I needed. It was such a beautiful dress I kept the rest of the look simple, just fringe earrings and a fishtail braid to keep my hair out of my way.

And if you noticed, yes I did wear the same gold flatforms every day! I despise checking luggage so picked footwear that was comfortable enough for walking around in and would work with all my other outfits.

Let me know what are your go-to items for vacation and how you style them! And thank you to Tobi for collaborating with me on this post!
