Festival season is here! If you aren’t flying off to live your best life at Coachella, at least you can add some festival inspired style to your Spring wardrobe. Most of the festival trends are pretty out there, and hard to pull off if you aren’t a lanky twenty-something year old. I love the festival season trends and try to interpret them in a way that is easy and appropriate for the normal, everyday life of an average woman. Here are a few ways to get a festival inspired look for a grown woman life!

Try a Fun New Hairstyle

I’ve been rocking these DIY passion twists and they are all the rage! This look is probably one of the biggest natural hair trends I’ve seen this season, and they give you the perfect sophsticated bohemian guide. They are so cute and can be styled long and loose or in fun, oversized buns and updos. I also love playing with different cornrow styles, and the easiest way to spice up your look is throwing on a cute wig! Whether in a bold color or new curl pattern, you can experiement with your look each season without compromising the health of your natural hair.

Go Bolder with Makeup

Spring makeup can be very fresh faced, dewy, soft and romantic. When going to a festival inspired look, you definitely need to take it up a notch! Think about more intense shimmer or even glitters for your going out looks, and bold lip color like neon orange or hot pink. I also love layering on highlighter in shades of pink, champagne, or even purple! If your outfit is on the simpler side, a bolder makeup look is a great way to make a statement.

Update Some Go-To Pieces in Your Wardrobe

Festival style is fun, so just pick a few key pieces that hit some of the trends to get the look! Think fringe, crochet, and bohemian patterns in clothing, block heel booties with Western flair, and plenty of accessories.
